KIDS YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Join us in magical Costa Rica for our first ever Kids Yoga Teacher Training together with Busy Being & Emily Hunt. Our open air yoga studio is at beach front Hotel Las Tortugas, Playa Grande. Experience a newly updated manual with more attention to self care, ayurveda and the scientific backing of yoga.

In this busy world, children need more tools to naturally focus, relax and just feel a bit better when they need it. As a solution, the Busy Being Kids Yoga Teacher Training equips graduates with age-appropriate lesson plans, yoga poses, philosophies, breathing techniques and meditations for the kiddos in their lives. Whether you want to acquire income through teaching kids yoga classes in your community, improve your students' experience in the classroom, or simply learn more about the pure basics of yoga, this training welcomes you!

  • This 20-hour training is accredited under Yoga Alliance. You do not need to be a certified yoga instructor to teach kids yoga.

THE TRAINING

What makes Busy Being Kids Yoga unique is the combination of yoga and nature. We believe that in order to connect with ourselves we must also connect with the Earth and what is real around us. Each lesson plan you will receive has a theme; trees, birds, mushrooms, flowers, bees...what can we learn from them? However, these lesson plans are simply your foundation. Busy Being places an emphasis on incorporating your own personal creativity into how you teach your classes. Ultimately discover how to harness your own positive and patient energy in order to be the best teacher of youth yoga and mindfulness you can be.

Programming for kids yoga is growing and more knowledgable youth yoga teachers are needed(which is awesome!).

You will receive a Busy Being Kids Yoga Manual on the first day of the training, with exercises, games, lesson plans, music, illustrations + more. Our job is to help you feel prepared to lead a full kids yoga class, mini exercises, Creative Mindfulness Camps + more!

LOCATION

This Kids Yoga Teacher Training will be held at Beach Front Hotel Las Tortugas at Playa Grande, Costa Rica. We will practice in a new open air yoga studio so close to the ocean that you can hear the waves. Breakfast and lunch is included is the training price and we will eat together at the hotel restaurant. Our lunch break is extra long so you will have time to take a dip in the pool or in the ocean before the afternoon practice.

YOUR TEACHER

This Kids Yoga Teacher Training will be led by the founder of Busy Being, Emily Hunt. Emily has been teaching yoga in over 50 Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Public Schools, to thousands of children and has extensive knowledge in the business aspect of kids yoga. She completed her 72-hour kids yoga certificate with Harris Lender through Kidding Around Yoga in Tampa Florida and 300 hours of Ashtanga and Rocket-based yoga training through Yoga Ah in Cincinnati and abroad. 

She has assisted in numerous 200-hour Foundations Trainings and 60-hour Rocket Trainings through Yoga Ah with Amber Gean Espelage, nationally and internationally.
