BEACH TOURS

Costa Rica have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Just 40 minutes away from Tamarindo is Playa Danta, located in the new beach community Catalinas. Playa Danta is pretty little beach perfect for SUP and kayaking. Go a short 15-20 minutes hike to the next beach, Dantita, practice yoga or rent bikes to explore the area. This beach also has a restaurant offering great local food and drinks right on the beach. If you just want to relax with a cocktail in your hand by the pool enjoying the gorgeous view, Casa Chameleon is the place to go.

If you are looking to take a break from Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo is a nice beach to go to. Just 25 minutes to drive north of Tamarindo, this beautiful white sand beach providing calm waves and gorgeous sunsets. There is a little restaurant on the beach with coconut as their speciality.

One of our favorite beaches is Bahia de Piratas. Just to get there on Costa Ricas narrow dirt roads is an adventure. This is a very pretty little beach and normally un crowed. It’s possible to swim out to a little island with a cave or go snorkeling around the island. There’s no bathrooms on this beach. A local beach bar and bbq provide cold beers, cocktails, ceviche, meat and shrimp skewers.
